EARLY LIFE, EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND
Cleo Ice Queen was born on the 14th of June, 1989 in Lusaka, Zambia. Cleo grew up in a Family of Seven with two brothers and two sisters plus parents. She spent most of her early childhood living in Lusaka with her family.
For her education, Cleo studied Marketing at the University Of Lusaka (UNILUS), where she bagged herself a degree in Marketing.
MUSIC CAREER
Cleo Ice Queen started her career and passion in music, way back since childhood. According to Wikipedia, She had her first studio experience at Banani International School, where a Recording studio had been built by the principal. There, she recorded and released her first single, "Hands Up".
In 2011, she started her music career professionally. In 2012, she released her hit single, titled "Big Dreams" which was a massive hit and received positive reviews from music lovers. In December of 2016, Queen released her debut studio album titled "Geminice which had 14 solid tracks and popular hit tracks like "Turn Up", "Addictive", "Autobahn" and lots more.
In 2016, Cleo reached another height in music after being the first Zambian Artist to be selected for season 2 of Coke Studio , a popular Music television series in Africa. She teamed up with "Bucie" and "Mr Kamera" to release the hit song, "Simunye" (We Are One). The song had mixed elements of language involving Zambian "Nyanja" language and South African "Xhosa" language from Bucie.
So far since her music career, she has achieved a lot of success and is recognized as one of the top Zambian Musicians. She has also won numerous awards and nominations. She's currently signed to Def Jam Records.
