EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
1Da Banton was born on the 27th of June, 1994 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, South Southern Nigeria. He grew up living in Port Harcourt City. No detailed information is known regarding his family background. According to Wikipedia, 1Da Banton dropped out of the University, studying Civil Engineering, to pursue his Music Career.
MUSIC CAREER
Banton started his music career way back in the early 2010s but didn't get much attention until the early 2020s. He doubles as a Record Producer, matter of fact, he's the brains behind Barawo Remix Beat By Ajebo Hustlers ft Davido.
In 2014, he signed a Record label deal with Squareball Entertainment Limited which is owned by Seasoned Nigerian Music Video Director, Adasa Cookey. In July of 2017, Banton Released his debut Studio EP titled "The Banton Ep" which had the hit track, "Way Up". In 2021, he Released his debut studio Album titled "Original Vibe Machine" which had 15 Tracks and contained Popular songs like "No Wahala" (original), "No Sleeping" ft Zlatan Ibile, "911" ft Seyi Shay, "Flenjo" ft Duncan Mighty, "Way Up" Remix ft Stonebwoy and more.
In 2022, 1Da Banton received mainstream audience after the Remix Release of his hit song, "No Wahala" ft Kizz Daniel and Tiwa Savage. The song went on to top various charts including Spotify and more. No Wahala remix also surpassed 100 Million Streams. In 2023, he Released his second EP titled "1Da Shall Never End" containing 6 songs which also had the hit track, "Ego".
So far since his Career, he has worked with Top Acts like Kranium, Stonebwoy, Zlatan Ibile, Seyi Shay, Blaqbonez, Ajebo Hustlers, Tiwa Savage, Kizz Daniel and many more. He's also called Original Vibes Machine.
