EARLY LIFE
Tyla was born on the 30th of January, 2002 in Johannesburg, Capital City of South Africa. Tyla Grew up living in Johannesburg. For her Education, Tyla attended the Edenglen High school for her high school Education. Not much is known if she is a University Graduate or an aspiring candidate.
For her family background, Tyla has a Zulu, Indian and Dutch Ancestry, making her heritage a bit mixed.

Tyla started Music way back before getting her Big Break around 2022/2023. She started off by posting videos of her composes and covers of Popular songs on her Social media handles. Tyla became Popular Nation Wide after releasing her hit song titled "Getting Late" in 2019.
Tyla was lucky and got herself a record label deal in 2021 and got signed into a joint venture deal between Epic and Fax Records respectively. So far, under these Record labels, Tyla released a couple of works like "To Last", "Overdue", "Been Thinking", "Girl Next Door" featuring Nigerian Afrobeat Sensation, Ayra Starr.
Tyla got her Global Recognition with her hit song, "Water", which was released in July of 2023. The song was an Amapiano/Pop fusion hit coupled with a touch of RNB flows. The song spawned several charts including The Billboard 100 Charts, and got Millions of Views in it's Accompanying video on YouTube and also spawned a Tik Tok dance challenge.
