ASAKE BIOGRAPHY
EARLY LIFE
Asake was born on the 31st of January, 1995 in Lagos state, Nigeria. According to sources, Asake comes from a Muslim household and he himself is a Muslim. His father was an Entrepreneur and his mother a teacher.
Asake studied Theater Arts and Performing Art at The popular Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile Ife, Osun state, Nigeria. OAU is known for housing artistes like Cheque, Fireboy DML, Blaqbonez and lots more. This is all i have concerning his early life and education.
MUSIC CAREER
Asake started dropping hits back in 2018 but didn't see the industry's limelight not until 2020, when he dropped his single, Lady and more popular when he released the single Mr Money in 2020.
In February 2022, Asake got signed into YBNL Records owned by Olamide. He released his debut studio EP under YBNL titled Ololade. The EP contained hit tracks such as Omo Open, Sungba which also had a remix with Burna Boy.
He released his debut studio Album titled Mr Money With The Vibe on September 8, 2022. It contained hits like Terminator, Peace Be Unit You (PBUY) and lots more. The Album was a success. Asake did a couple of other songs later on like Joha in 2022, Yoga in 2023, Loaded featured by Tiwa Savage, Palazo featured by DJ Neptune.
Asake did a music world tour in 2022 titled Mr money With The Vibe where he sold out the 02 Academy Brixton in London, Massively.

CONTROVERSIES
During Asake Mr Money With The Vibe world tour, several people were critically injured during a crowd crush on the final date of the tour at Brixton Academy in Brixton, London. Two people died as the cause of the incident, A 33 year old Rebecca Ikumelo and 23 Year Old Security guard Gaby Hutchinson. In March 2023, Rebecca Ikumelo was laid to rest. May their souls rest in peace.
