BLAQBONEZ BIOGRAPHY
EARLY LIFE
Emeka Akumefule (Blaqbonez) was born on the 29th of January, 1996 to an Igbo Family. He hails from IMO state (South-Eastern part of), Nigeria.
Blaqbonez grew up in a Yoruba and urhobo mixed environment. That is, he grew up being exposed more to the culture of the Yoruba and the Urhobo people in Nigeria (This is commonly seen in Nigeria as Emigration frequently takes place).
He grew up with his mother, who is a pastor and like most musicians, started rapping at a tender age of 13 years. His motivation to become a rapper happened when he heard the song of a 12 year old rapper on the radio been played. His cousin challenged him to come with rap lyrics, since he like criticizing rappers. Some few minutes later, it all begun after gathering some words together to form lyrics. Blaqbonez is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) where he studied Computer Engineering.
BLAQBONEZ MUSIC CAREER
As stated above, Blaqbonez started rapping at a young age. He had a little problem with the profession he had chosen because his parents were not in support of it. I mean, having a Pastor mum and going into a circular rap (in Nigeria)?? No way. But Blaqbonez continued chasing his passion secretly, Nevertheless.
Blaqbonez participated in many Rap battles and competitions which helped his career grow. Some of the competitions which he contested and won were Terry That Rapman's competition in 2012, Vector's king Kong competition, Rhythm FM freestyle fury and many more. He also got featured on songs with A list rappers in 'em industry (I feel like rapping too).
Blaqbonez Released a couple of works before coming into limelight and attention from a more broad audience. However, we have broken this post to give a more detailed account on his current works. Blaqbonez is currently signed into Chocolate City Record Label.
In 2018, he released his Bad Boy Blaq Ep on the 31st of August 2018. The EP was produced by M.I Abaga and a reissue of the EP titled bad Boy Blaq Re-Up was released in 2019.
He released his Mr Boombastic EP on the 28th of October which had several songs in it and he released his hit song Haba in 2020.
Blaqbonez released his first studio Album (Debut Album), titled Sex Over Love. The Album contains 14 tracks and featured top artistes from Nigeria, including SA's Nasty C. Other artistes featured on the Album include Amarae, Tiwa Savage, Buju, Joeboy and many more.

Not much is known about Blaqbonez family members. But as stated above earlier in the post, his mom is a pastor. Not much is known about his Dad. And again, he wasn't given support by his family due to the kind of profession he chose so........ I don't know.
